How we collect listings
Every listing on Sakebiba is a real, bookable experience with its own page, and every brewery fact links to a source. Here is how we put the data together.
Tours and tastings
We currently list 82 booking options for 66 distinct experiences: 28 on GetYourGuide, 19 on operators’ own websites, 17 on Klook, 14 on Viator and 4 on Arigato Travel. For each listing we record the title, the booking site, the operator where shown, the city, the price as shown with the date checked, the duration, the type of experience and, where shown, the rating. We don’t store photos or review text from booking sites.
When the same experience is sold on several sites, we show it once with a “Book on” button for each site. Prices are shown in the currency the booking page used and are not converted. Booking sites change prices often and may show different prices in different countries, so the price on the booking page is always the one that counts.
Listings on operators’ own websites and on Arigato Travel were read from their public pages. GetYourGuide, Viator and Klook don’t allow automated collection from their sites, so for those listings we recorded only the basic details shown publicly for each listing, and we are moving them to each site’s official partner data. If something has changed, please tell us.
Breweries
We list 31 breweries, each with a link to the brewery’s official website or the official local tourism site that we used. We mark a brewery “walk-in” only when the source says individuals can visit without booking. Anything the source doesn’t state is marked “Not stated”. Map pins are approximate, based on OpenStreetMap and the address search of Japan’s Geospatial Information Authority.
Which pages we publish
We publish a page for a city only when it has at least three listings (bookable experiences plus breweries to visit), so that every page is useful. Places with fewer listings still appear on their region page and in the full lists.
